Happy Lunar New Year! Some note on South Coast Derby

I would like to wish everyone a very happy Lunar New Year! May the year of the Tiger be a blessing of all of us, and that it would be much better for all of us than the previous year!

Today is a rather slow Saturday without BPL actions. Indeed, English football is one which dominates the global football scene.

The only notable match for today is none other than the South Coast derby between Southampton and Portsmouth. This match would also be interesting as this is a clash between two beleaguered clubs in which amazingly both arch-rivals have been ruined no thanks to their respective years of mis-management and that both of them have faced the threat of extinction.

Nevertheless, this derby would still be a fiery one, and this match is one of those match which could go either way, regardless of the fact that both clubs are two divisions apart, as this is firstly a derby match, and secondly, this is an FA Cup tie. Anyone of those teams could win this one.

My prediction for the South Coast derby is for the match to be an entertaining one but it would end all-square, with a replay set to be played in Fratton Park (if Portsmouth still exists at that time).
